Saturday could be cool... Any others interested?
I'll be there with my finace'. I'll be looking into getting a hotel room and air fare for me and drumaddix. Probably rent a car too. Drumaddix... I have AAA insurance, so I think I can get a decent rate on a hotel. Or maybe "on-line" shopping may be the way. I'll be in touch with you tomorrow.
Zak?? Any suggestions on where to stay?? Been to S.F. before and usually stayed downtown or there abouts. I'll PM you with my info so we can exchange.

drumaddix.......... saw Tom Brechtline tonight at the B.P. He said he might be taking Gary Novaks place next tuesday's "Jam night". I didn't get a chance to ask the guitar player if Gary's a for sure no show.

I got my trip through Expedia.com and ended up paying about $500 for the tickets and hotel for 4 nights. I'm coming in on Thursday afternoon and leaving Monday. I'm actually staying at the Jack London Inn, which is a stone's throw from the club, from what I'm told. zak and canarsie-i plan on attending two shows,friday and saturday,and am in contact with John(joesmechanic) who s down for it.I don't have a hotel room to stay and flight tickets are yet to be bought.

Last I heard, you don't want to be walking around late at night in that neighborhood. If you got a penny in your pocket, 10 guys might want it.
Yeah.... expedia is a good one, although Southwest airlines is pretty hard to beat for airfares. Especially if you book in advance.

I've heard all about Oakland after dark! That's why I got a hotel IN Jack London Square, so I can just stumble across the parking lot! Minneapolis has it's share of "spangers" too, so I'm no stranger to it. I've found the best way to combat them is to walk right up to them and say "hey man, you got a dollar I can borrow??"

Jack London Square is pretty nice so no worries about the Oakland reputation there. Go a about 8-10 blocks away then that's a different story though. Staying in SF isn't a bad idea either... Oakland is just over the bay bridge.
Any ideas on which show we should do this hang? I'm thinking maybe the Saturday 8pm show? Maybe pizza and beer before at UNO's across the street.
Doors open at 6pm so we'd have to go get in line early and reserve seats. Then we can return at 8 for the show.
I know Yoshis watches out for bootleging since they record so many live albums there. For those who haven't been be prepaird for one of the best sounding rooms out there. As far as cameras I don't recall anyone ever saying don't use them but I'm sure turning off the flash would be smart; it's a dark place. I've never brought my camera so I don't know for sure. There may be a photo policy on their web page.

I actually got tickets for all the late shows, but I'm never one to turn down beer and 'zza!! (Especially UNO!!)
